Travel industry starts recovery of workforce after downturn

Economic recovery has allowed various segments of the travel and tourism industry to gradually increase hiring activities as travel demand continues its slow growth, industry experts say. "It's been a very tentative recovery marked by a lot of financial and organizational discipline" by employers, said Henry H. Harteveldt, co-founder of Atmosphere Research Group, even with early indicators pointing to industry recovery.
