Vegans must face a fundamental flaw in their philosophy, writes Rhys Southan: They might not eat animals, but they still exploit ecosystems in ways that lead to enormous suffering and countless animal deaths. If vegan aliens took over earth, humankind would be in serious trouble. "A vegan alien invasion could then all but destroy humanity while rationalising most of our suffering and death as 'accidental' or 'unfortunate but necessary,' " Southan writes.
