Boston among cities where weight-loss challenge does not work

Boston officials are trying to figure out what went wrong with its citywide challenge to lose a total of a million pounds, which is coming up short by 900,000-plus pounds with just a few months to go. Oklahoma City was successful in its weight-loss program, but initiatives in other cities are showing low participation and disappointing results.
