Certified nurse coaches can help people prevent, manage disease

Nurses can now be trained and certified as a health coach, which can improve their ability to help patients make behavioral changes that prevent or manage chronic disease. Barbara Dossey, co-director of the International Nurse Coach Association, said people know they have to eat healthy and exercise, and nurse coaches can help them make the change.
