4K viewing parties among new Olympics features from Comcast

Comcast will hold 4K viewing parties in some markets during the Winter Olympics, one of several new services and technologies it will offer during the Games. Six markets will see a trial of the company's "Instant On Demand" feature, which allows viewers to restart prime-time coverage. Comcast will also port the NBC Sports Live Extra application to its X1 set-tops, giving viewers access to more than 1,000 hours of streaming coverage on their TVs.
