Ariz. district mulls expansion of cluster model for gifted education

Students enrolled in gifted education in a school district in Arizona could see some changes in how they receive services and supports. District officials are considering expanding a cluster model, in which students in gifted education stay in mainstream classes instead of being pulled out for special programming. The cluster model uses gifted coaches to help train teachers.
