Developers spend more on acquisitions, but gamer revenue slow to catch up

SuperData Research reports the cost to acquire a new gamer in December was $4.36 -- a rise of more than 288% from January 2012. December's costs were also triple the monthly average for the rest of 2013. Since January 2012, average user revenue has only risen from 78 cents to $1.08, or 38%, SuperData says.
