Russia might add import tax on foreign online retailers

The Russian government might levy a 30% tax on online purchases larger than about $200 from foreign retailers. It might also limit delivery companies to five business-to-consumer imports each day. The moves, designed to protect local retailers, would present a challenge to online retailers such as ASOS, Next and Net-A-Porter, which have Russian-language websites and view the country as a growth area.
