Wash. state moves to make voting easier for college students

The Washington state Legislature is considering a measure that would make it easier for students to vote in elections. The bill would require ballot boxes to be installed on campuses of public colleges, universities, community colleges and technical colleges, and would create penalties for anyone tampering with the boxes. "I think this is a great opportunity to make sure we're engaging students on campuses," the measure's sponsor, Rep. Tina Orwall, said.
