Cheetah Medical gets FDA OK for heart monitor

The FDA has granted Cheetah Medical approval to market its noninvasive Reliant device, designed to track cardiac output. "There is a need for a noninvasive method that will simplify the process and reduce costs, prevent complications, and which will also be suitable for use in dialysis, post-operative care and stress testing," said Cheetah CEO Yoav Avidor.
