Dodd vows to push flood insurance bill through Senate

Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., said opposition from Louisiana senators will not dissuade him from pushing a federal flood insurance bill through the Senate. Dodd's version of the bill differs from the House's version in that it does not cover wind damage. The White House has said it will veto the House bill, and insurers are lobbying to keep provisions for wind damage out of the legislation.
