Expert offers tips for a safe airplane evacuation

The airplane slide is frequently the most challenging part of an evacuation. Safety expert Dan Johnson recommends that travelers count the rows to the nearest exit row after they board the plane. Travelers should leave the plane as quickly as possible and not attempt to retrieve their overhead luggage, he notes.
