Officials meet to discuss Dulles Metro extension

The Federal Transit Administration will meet next week to decide whether to fund the extension of the Washington-area Metro rail system to Dulles International Airport. The project needs $900 million in federal funding to continue. Virginia Gov. Timothy Kaine will meet today with Transportation Secretary Mary Peters and state lawmakers to discuss the project.
