Obama drafts the highlights for a scaled-down health reform bill

During a meeting with congressional leaders this weekend, President Barack Obama identified key provisions in the Democrats' health reform proposal that he wants to see in a scaled-down version of the bill. Among these measures are extending the life of Medicare coverage for the elderly, lowering the prices of drugs for the elderly and limiting the out-of-pocket medical expenses of consumers.
