Uncertainty looms over wind farm in Cape Cod

President Barack Obama has remained mum over the future of a controversial wind farm off Cape Cod. The late Sen. Edward Kennedy fiercely opposed the project because of its potential adverse impact on the environment and the historic value of Nantucket Sound. Cape Wind, which would be the nation's first offshore wind farm, would cost $1 billion and provide 75% of the Cape's electricity with 130 turbines, each about 440 feet tall.
