Cox's TV Economy service won't include ESPN, Bravo or MTV

Cox plans to offer a TV Economy cable subscription for about $35 a month that will likely include standard-definition and HD editions of local broadcast channels, shopping channels, C-SPAN, AMC, CNN, Comedy Central, Disney Channel, Food, Lifetime and USA, among others. However, the new offering would not have ABC Family, Bravo, ESPN, FX, HGTV or MTV, among other popular channels that are part of its TV Essentials service, which costs up to $60 a month.
