French and German automakers find common ground

Daimler-Benz CEO Dieter Zetsche and Renault and Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn have agreed to have Daimler's Mercedes-Benz engines manufactured at a Nissan plant in Tennessee. That helps both companies deal with the logistics of the global auto business, explains Ghosn. "You're going to see more collaboration in different geographical zones, around capacities, around platforms, around engines," he says.
