House will consider FAA reauthorization bill today

The House of Representatives plans to consider legislation today for a short-term extension of funding for the Federal Aviation Administration. The move comes after both parties reached agreement on labor provisions. "We must bring to conclusion a long-term FAA bill to help create jobs, modernize our nation’s aviation infrastructure and air traffic control system, and streamline and reform FAA programs as soon as possible," said Rep. John Mica, R-Fla.
