Prediabetes, blood glucose need more attention, experts say

Prediabetes is a red flag for the development of type 2 diabetes and a "huge health problem that is not being addressed to the fullest," said registered dietitian and diabetes educator Hope Warshaw. Health experts want blood glucose monitoring and education to get the same amount of public attention as cholesterol.
