Antarctic penguins hunt without mercy, never miss their targets

Foraging Adelie penguins have a real thirst for blood -- and no fish or krill is safe, according to findings published in PNAS. Using underwater cameras, researchers determined that the Antarctic birds were capable of eating 244 krill or 33 fish in less than 1½ hours. Researchers said not one target was missed while the penguins were observed.
