EBA wants big banks to prepare "living wills"

The European Banking Authority wants 39 banks to create a document that enumerates how they would survive a crisis without being a burden on taxpayers. "The plans shall be submitted to the respective competent authorities and discussed within colleges of supervisors," according to the regulator. The process will occur under the guidance of the Financial Stability Board.
