Group lauds proposal to include job history in stage 3 MU criteria

The American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine hailed the ONC for proposing to add a patient's job history to the stage 3 meaningful use requirements. Patients' job histories gathered using EHRs "will prove valuable both for clinical management and for future epidemiologic investigations," said Dr. Karl Auerbach, the group's president.
