Quality program gains support from close to 400 Calif. hospitals

Almost 400 hospitals in California have signed on to participate in the CMS Partnership for Patients program to improve quality and safety, the California Hospital Association said. The goal of the program is to cut inpatient harm by 40% and readmissions by 20%.
