Study rejects link between lupus drugs, lymphoma risk


Patients with lupus who were treated with immunosuppressive drugs including cyclophosphamide were at no greater risk of developing lymphoma, researchers in Canada found. The study, which involved 75 lupus patients with lymphoma and almost 5,000 cancer-free lupus patients, will be published in the journal Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases.
