Vendors look for rebound in telecom spending

There is a consensus among research firms that telecom vendors will enjoy a resurgence after a flat or down 2012, although they disagree on the extent of the rebound. Gartner predicts a 2.3% rise globally, with a 4% gain in North America and Latin America, while Infonetics Research is more bullish: Its analysts foresee 13% growth in 2013. The firms do agree that carriers will step up their spending on building 4G wireless networks.
