Lauren Hill experienced many struggles early in her career as an educator, which she overcame by becoming National Board Certified and eventually joining the Center for Teaching Quality's virtual community. An English-language arts teacher in a Kentucky high school, Hill writes in this blog post about the experiences that connected her with other educators and gave her a "broader view" of education by exposing her to various viewpoints and experiences. "I know now that thousands of educators share my passion and enthusiasm. Share my frustrations," she writes.
