Ore. delays decision on common core textbooks for 2 years

The Oregon Board of Education has tabled a plan to begin vetting new math and reading textbooks aligned with the Common Core State Standards. The board will take up the issue again in 2017. In the mean time, members will seek additional input from stakeholders and explore new ways of recommending resources to schools.
