Poll sheds light on preparation for online tests for common core

Fewer than 11% of those who responded to a recent poll in SmartBrief on EdTech reported that they are well-prepared to administer online exams aligned with the Common Core State Standards. Katharine Haber, a SmartBrief education editor, writes in this blog post that many educators also reported that students still need to learn technology skills to take the exams. A majority of teachers who responded to the poll -- 74.74% -- reported that too much instructional time is being spent preparing for standardized tests.
