Study: Mobile "showrooming" is common in car showrooms

More than 80% consumers in the market for a car use their smartphones as part of the process, and 63% do so while at a dealership, according to a study by Placed Inc. for Cars.com. It also found that mobile users were 72% more likely to visit multiple dealerships than non-mobile users.
