Syrian refugee children get education through time-share program

Syrian refugee children and exiled Syrian teachers have begun a time-share program with a school in Akroum, Lebanon, writes Gordon Brown, United Nations special envoy for global education. Young people "need hope, which is what education offers, allowing children to plan for the future and preventing young people, already scarred by war, from becoming a 'lost generation,' " he argues.
