Wet Seal makes personal connection with teens via Snapchat, popular blogger

Wet Seal combined the teen popularity of Snapchat with highly followed teen blogger MsMeghanMakeup to generate more than 9,000 followers for the brand over the holidays. Wet Seal allowed the blogger to take over its Snapchat account during the shopping period. "The main goal has been to expand the branding of Wet Seal and provide a deeper relationship with our core consumer," said Christine MacGregor, the company's vice president of marketing and e-commerce.
