Whole Foods prepares to build long-delayed store in Md.

Construction is scheduled to start next week on the first Whole Foods Market location in Prince George's County, Md., which borders Washington, D.C. The store, the anchor of a $250 million mixed-use development, is set to open late next year. Plans were delayed nearly two years because of neighbors' concerns about traffic.
