Netflix reports Q4 profit more than doubled

Netflix, the movie-rental-by-mail powerhouse, said its fourth-quarter net income more than doubled as revenue rose 77% over the previous year's fourth quarter. Netflix is facing increasing competition from Blockbuster and giant retailers such as Wal-Mart, as well as the threat that online retailer Amazon.com plans to offer a similar service in the U.S.
