Raytheon's Global Hawk sensor costs beat target goals

Raytheon's costs for the Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehicle's sensor system are coming in below cost-reduction goals set by the Air Force, according to Aviation Week's Aerospace Daily & Defense Report. The program is in the second phase of low rate production; by the third phase, the company expects costs to come down even more.
