Connecticut panel considers high school reforms

A Connecticut advisory committee tasked with recommending new ways to revitalize high school is mulling off-campus options for fourth-year students, who often fall prey to "senioritis." State Education Commissioner Betty J. Sternberg says her goal is to "hook" kids on interesting material that will require them to be analytical and creative.
