British schools need to teach country's values

Britain's education secretary said Thursday that schools need to do more to instill in their students an understanding of and pride in their national identity and values. A teachers representative agreed schools have an important role to play but said schools would need the support and resources to accommodate additions to an already overloaded curriculum.
