ConAgra reorganizes popcorn production, cuts 200 jobs

As part of a reorganization effort started last year, ConAgra Foods announced Thursday it will close a popcorn plant in Edina, Minn., and a popcorn ball factory in St. Paul, Minn., which will eliminate about 200 jobs. The Omaha-based packaged food company said the manufacturing capacity of the two closed plants will be taken up by plants in Rensselaer, Ind., and Mexico.
