New Orleans needs teachers

The state-run Recovery School District in New Orleans is short about 50 teachers for its 8,580 students, a sign of the challenging time the city is having finding teachers. The city has 55 public schools open after Hurricane Katrina, but administrators say recruiting staff for them is difficult.
