Sliding property market touching office space

Downsizing and closing financial service firms and mortgage lenders have created new vacancies and weakened the U.S. commercial-property sector. Office vacancies increased nationwide to 12.6% in the fourth quarter over the third, said data firm Reis Inc. Thought just a slight uptick, it was the first rise in office vacancies in four years.
