Study: Poorer students benefit from pre-kindergarten

Studies have found that pre-kindergarten benefits all children in some way, but early education is even more important for children from poor or disadvantaged families. Researchers have said that pre-kindergarten can boost early reading and math abilities, but the long-term academic benefits are still uncertain.
