Airbus, Boeing unite to oppose Canadian financing for Bombardier

Normally fierce competitors, Airbus and Boeing joined forces to oppose Canada's plan to finance sales of a jet to be built by Bombardier. The aircraft companies said the financing arrangement violates international rules. The government of Canada said it is free to go ahead with the attractive financing assistance for Bombardier under rules as they are written.
