Marriage equality is worth defending in New Hampshire

New Hampshire's citizens and elected officials should hold back any attempts to end its marriage-equality law, whether through repeal or constitutional amendment, according to this editorial in the Concord Monitor. "Legalizing same-sex marriage was a bold and powerful message from the Legislature and governor: New Hampshire will treat gay men and lesbians as full-fledged citizens," the Monitor writes. "There is no call for retreat."
