Ruby Tuesday turns upscale

Ruby Tuesday has undergone a $100 million makeover as the 40-year-old chain turns its focus to more upscale food in a bid to pull more money from diners. The restaurant chain has added dishes such as tilapia and lobster tail to its menu, launched a four-course Sunday brunch and dumped its signature Tiffany lamps. The moves, which came right as the recession hit, finally seem to be paying off in higher profits, analysts say.
