Singapore casinos fire employees before opening

Resorts World Sentosa fired more than 30 workers whose gambling applications were rejected by Singapore's Casino Regulatory Authority. Resorts World, which plans to open soon as Singapore's first casino, fired some of the workers after a three-month training program. Marina Bay Sands also sent some employees rejected by the authority an e-mail that terminated employment contracts.
