Turnover expected at top of leasing giant ILFC

Steven Udvar-Hazy, the founder of International Lease Finance Corp., may leave the company as soon as this week after trying for a year to extricate the aircraft leasing giant from its struggling parent company, American International Group. Some insiders say Udvar-Hazy's departure could be good for the airline industry, which has seen aircraft values wavering due to uncertainty over the future of ILFC. Douglas Steenland, the former CEO of Northwest Airlines, has been named chairman of ILFC.
