High-tech calculators aid Ohio students in math lessons

Math teachers at several Ohio high schools say student achievement and enthusiasm in math courses has increased since they began using Texas Instruments Nspire graphing calculators last year. The Windows-based calculators allow students to create, save and review work electronically. "I can see exactly what they are doing at all times," one teacher said. "They can send it to me. I can see exactly what they've done. It really reinforces all the concepts we do together."
