Motorola sues Apple, claims new iPhone patent violations

Motorola Mobility has stepped up its legal attack against Apple's iPhone by filing a lawsuit in federal court claiming the company's latest smartphone infringes six patents. Motorola was forced to file a separate suit after the judge ruled that the vendor could not add the iPhone 4S to a patent claim it had filed against Apple in 2010. In a new twist, Motorola has also alleged four patent violations against Apple's new iCloud storage locker.
