Iowa airport gets state funding for GA ramp

Iowa's Quad-City International Airport will receive $466,500 in state funding to expand its south general aviation ramp. The project will also receive $155,500 in local funds. The project "is safety-related because we don’t have enough space for parking the aircraft," said Bruce Carter, the airport's aviation director.
