UCSF adds MyFitnessPal tracking to its wellness program

The University of California, San Francisco, is using the exercise and nutrition tracking service MyFitnessPal in its Smart Choice Smart U wellness program for 25,000 employees, visitors and patients. MyFitnessPal will add 200 foods served at UCSF Medical Center campuses to its database, and the university is encouraging staff to use Fitbit, which syncs with MyFitnessPal, to track their activity.
