Hilton posts fourth-quarter profit increase

Hilton Hotels' focus on lower-paying vacationers during a decline in business travel appears to have paid off with a rise in fourth-quarter profit. The hotel giant posted a net income of $67 million, or 17 cents a share, compared with $40 million, or 11 cents a share during the same period a year earlier.
